Just when I thought the hunt was over…

My work conference is over! So it’s back to normalcy and lower stress levels… I hope! I’m already tackling things left and right today. I caught up on ALL of my blog reading, made an appointment for tomorrow for my first ever chiropractor visit (I’ve had this sore spot on my spin for awhile), received my car loan check in the mail and I’m ready to tackle wedding projects without feeling completely overwhelmed! Speak of wedding stuff… (I know, you’re probably all thinking, shut up already!)
Over the weekend, when I stopped in at my parent’s house to go over the casinos venue contract, where we ran into a few problems. One being signage, the other being taxes. We have since cleared those problems up, and I’m ready to move forward, but my Dad suggested that I make a few other venue appointments. Just to see what else is out there and so I’m sure about the casino. I agreed and made two appointments at some reception places. I also have two parks on the list as well, for ceremony options, that I’d like to see while I’m at it.
Here are the top three reception places in the running:
I talked about this venue here.
I have an appointment here tomorrow evening.
I have an appointment here saturday afternoon.
Out of all of the pictures, Travis likes the golf course the best because it looks the biggest and I still love the casino. The dinner theater looks dark to me, and I think it’s out of the way for a lot of people, including myself. Every time I think about my wedding reception, I picture it at the casino. I just love how much light comes in through those windows, but I also love the golf course’s wooden ceiling. We will see what happens though. Our contract to keep hold of the casino is due on Tuesday, so a decision will have to be made this weekend.
In the meantime, we have decided on a theme, and colors for our wedding (slightly different than this, I’ll explain about that later) so we need a space where we can let the indoors in… and darkness just doesn’t sound right to me, so I’m still rooting for the casino. I just hope that by our last venue visit on Saturday, that there is a clear winner, for everyone.
