The cord was long enough.
That’s right, the cable cord was long enough to move the tv to the other side of the bedroom. The pictures don’t do the bedroom justice, but it feels so much better this way. We can now look out the one window to see if it’s storming, dark.. etc, because we usually have the curtains closed to the big windows, since the neighbors house is right there. And it’s actually cooler to sleep on the opposite side, since the a/c blows right towards us. Win-Win. But before I show you the room all rearranged, let me refresh your brain to what the bedroom use to be like…

The bedroom use to be the catch-all for all of the junk in the apartment, but we’ve really been going thru stuff and selling or getting rid of things. The only things left in the bedroom are tires (which are going on my car in October) and leftover parts from Travis’ electric drums. Oh, and a huge futon mattress, which my sister is suppose to be coming to pick up soon.
Anyways, the bedroom is now just about clutter free. Except for Coco’s toys, she is spoiled!

I’m pretty sure that when Travis & I do make that jump into home-ownership, that we will re-arranged things a million times. You always think you know exactly where everything should go, but as you live with that decision for awhile, it becomes clear how things should really be re-arranged. Or maybe I just like playing “musical furniture”. I always did re-arrange my bedroom furniture about 234,343 times while growing up. That’s probably why by the time I was a teenager, most of my furniture was broken from pushing it around so much, oops.
I also know that when we do become home owners, that we will need the following: tv mount, new dresser, new bed frame & headboard & new nightstands. All of our stuff is borrowed (bed frame & headboard) or falling apart (dresser). I see a lot of dollar signs… crap.
