Weekend Wrap-Up #25
Sunday, September 23, 2012
I haven’t done a weekend wrap-up since September 10th, wow! I can’t believe it has been that long. Over this past weekend we made a huge purchase… a truck! Friday night after work, we headed out to Maguire’s Ford in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Travis had his eye on a Chevy Silverado there. When we pulled into the dealership, they had a Chevy Silverado out front (this is a Ford dealer), so we thought that might be the truck, but it look black and the truck we wanted to see was described as maroon. After parking we met up with our salesman Tom (who was awesome, by the way & he even has a zombie tattoo, 200+ points for him in my book) who took us to the truck out front, which WAS the truck we’ve been wanting to see. Turns out the truck is actually a color called Dark Cherry Metallic. Anyways, long story short, Travis test drove it, fell in love and we purchased & brought it home that night. We love it. We’ve already driven it over 100+ miles this past weekend and it’s awesome. My favorite part of the entire thing is the color, it changes in different light settings. It looks black, then maroon, and purple.
so we can bring the truck home the same night.)
After purchasing the truck that night, we headed out to my parents to show it off before taking it home. The following day we took the truck up to Travis’ Dad’s to show it off again and to sight in Travis’ rifle.
The rest of the weekend was spent grocery shopping, cleaning, and Travis had a laptop to fix for a family friend, so we just hung out on the couch for the rest of Sunday, but we are both anxious for the Patriots game to start at 8! Go Pats!
for our vacation soon, where we need to drive over 600+ miles.)
but on the bright side, I now have 30 corks in my collection.)
How was your weekend? & What football team is everyone rooting for this year? I use to be a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but Travis has converted me to a New England Patriots fan, I have a jersey and everything. Every game day, Travis & I both wear our jerseys all day, and then yell at the tv during the game. Never thought I’d be THAT football fan. :P
