Apple Snap {SoCo & Peach Schnapps}
07/25/2012
Happy Hump Day! I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already, but I’m so glad! Bring on the weekend! — If you’re a regular around here, you might already know that I made three special drinks over the weekend while I was camping. (If you’re new here, Hi & Welcome! Seriously try this drink, it’s delicious!) The first drink I made was a Red Wine Sangria, which I posted about yesterday. Today, I’m bringing to you the Apple Snap. It has some peach schnapps in it, which always goes straight to my head, therefore, I only drank one of these. :-X

It’s really simple to make too, which is always a plus! Just take the following ingredients:
Ingredients for Apple Snap: (Makes 1 drink)
- 1/4 cup Peach Schnapps
- 1/4 cup Southern Comfort
- 2 cups Apple Juice
- Splash of 7-Up

& mix them all together in a glass or a red solo cup!, I always use my handy mason jar, because I love them & it always makes for pretty pictures. Once you have it mixed, throw in a straw & a lime for garnish and you’ll feel like you’re on an island. Drink up!

If you’re a fan of apple juice drinks, try the Apple Pie recipe!
Or check out all of the adult beverage recipes that I’ve posted on the blog. :)
& be sure to check out the blog tomorrow when I posted the 3rd drink recipe from the weekend,
It is everyone’s new favorite drink for camping, which says a lot! It’s really good.

This looks so yummy! I’m not a fan of SoCo (not sure why – just never got into it) but I may have to give this a chance since I love everything else on that ingredient list!

You don’t taste the SoCo in this one at all.

I wish it was cool enough here to go camping! Hurry up November!
I have to agree with Kristen.. SoCo and I have never gotten along well. Kev loves it though, so maybe we’ll try this out as our Cocktail of the Week sometime (once we finish making all the fancy Mad Men drinks).

Cocktail of the Week, I like the sound of that. ;)

We try to pick one classic cocktail a week(ish) and buy the ingredients for it. That way, we not only get to try out some fantastic drinks, but we stock our bar with some awesome ingredients for making up our own cocktails!
We’re planning on posting on it soon! :)

That’s what I’ve been doing in the camper. The alcohol cabinet was empty when we started and now it’s full, so I’ve been having fun with it. :)
Can’t wait to see your post on it.

This sounds DELICIOUS! While I’m almost solely a beer drinker (with the occasional rye and coke) I’m going to have to start trying some of your recipes!

I like beer, but it gives me the hiccups, is that weird? LOL. The only beer I can drink is from a keg, otherwise I’m hiccuping all night. So, I tend to stay with mixed drinks. I don’t really like wine coolers, since most give me heartburn, so I have to find my own way to make a yummy drink. :)

YUM! Hubs and I love SoCo; this sounds delicious!
p.s. I’m cracking up how Travis is always in the background on his phone! Where is his drink?!

hahaha, he’s always on his darn iPhone. I think he was drinking a beer, but I don’t see it in any of the pictures. lol. It was only like 10:30AM when I made this too, so that might explain it. :-X
