I’m currently in love with…
07/06/2012

Sources: Straws | Southern Comfort | Raystown | Moccasins | Twitter | Gatorade | Credit Karma | Bacon Dip

No. 1 – CreditKarma.Com; As some of you might know, Travis & I are saving to purchase a house and on top of that, we checked our credit scores a lot! We use a free service called Credit Karma, and we check our scores monthly. Plus, since it’s a soft inquiry, it does not affect your credit score at all.
No. 2 – Striped Straws; These have been pretty popular for awhile now, but I still love them. Especially after seeing Christine‘s water glasses (mason jars) for her wedding decked out with some twine & cute green & yellow straws.
No. 3 – Twitter; It’s taken me awhile to jump on the twitter bandwagon. When I first signed up, I didn’t understand it at all, but I decided to really focus on two social networks for the blog (Twitter & Instagram). As I logged on more, I like it more. Now I have to check it at least twice a day to see what’s going on.
No. 4 – Gatorade; It’s hot here in Pennsylvania this Summer. The heat index for today is 104°. So, I’m constantly thirsty & lately the only thing that can quench my thirst is Gatorade. Which is weird, because I’ve never been a fan of Gatorade. But now, I crave it.
No. 5 – Moccasins; I miss wearing my Airwalk Moccasins! I’m so ready for the Fall season, so I can wear these 24/7 again. Although I need a new pair, since I wore mine so much during the fall/winter that the soles are falling off.
No. 6 – Ruffles Bacon Dip; I NEED to try this. I ♥ Bacon!
No. 7 – Raystown Lake; I basically grew up at Raystown Lake over the summertime. I’ve been going there since I was a toddler, and every summer after that up until I turned 18. It’s been a solid 5 years since I’ve been there, but I’m going this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited. I’m so anxious to show Travis the Ice Mine, The Swinging Bridge, Rainbox Falls & The Big Rock. I’ll make sure to get a TON of pictures to show you guys since Raystown was a HUGE part of my childhood. Heck, the last time I was there, Myself, My brother & My 2 cousins hiked 20+ miles in the woods and ended up getting lost & dehydrated. Ah, Memories.
No. 8 – Southern Comfort Cherry; You either like SoCo, or you don’t. Some people can’t stand the smell, but I looveee that sweet smell. Mix me up a Soco & Coke and I’m good to go. So, when they came out with Cherry SoCo I was thrilled! I really need to pick a bottle of this up, asap!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

    Bacon dip?! Yes please.

I’m also pretty crazy about the stripey straws, too.

I am a big SoCo fan as well! It’s true – it’s so polarizing. Aaron hates it and says it smells like “drunk.” Lol. I may have to pick up a bottle of that! Have a great weekend!

I need those moccasins! Being a Canadian you would think I’d own at least one pair! haha. But I’ve never had a pair. That. must. be. fixed.

You do need to get a pair! I always get mine from a store called Payless (Do they have those in Canada?) and I can usually get them on sale for like $8. They are sooo comfortable. I wear them everywhere, even to work. I’d wear them in the summertime if people didn’t give me weird looks for wearing moccasins in 90 degree heat. haha.

That bacon dip has me craving chips at 9am. Seriously.

I’ve been SO excited to see you on twitter more. It’s addicting. I have it on my phone and check it constantly! I don’t think anyone “gets” twitter when they first sign up. I hated it at first, too.

Have a great weekend! Stay hydrated this time ;)

Me too! & I don’t even really like snacking on chips, but with that dip I could probably eat an entire bag.

    Thanks & Will do. ;)

I had those same moccasins, and I had to throw them away…it was sad, but it had to be done. They were just loved way too much. I think I need another pair now!

Is it bad if I super glue my soles back on, and they are falling apart again? lol.

I want to get the grey pair next! :)

Awww- thanks for the shout out! Mom and I were just playing with the glasses last night and decided to add the twine bow… why not tie 110 glasses with twine bows a week before the wedding? lol.

Those moccasins look amazing! I too am going to have to find a pair. We do have Payless here- I got my wedding shoes there. Love that store!

Bacon dip sounds amazing and so does that place where you are camping!! Have a great weekend!!

They look really cute. 110 bows is a lot! Glad you’re mom was able to help though. Your hands would fall off if you had to do it yourself. & you should get a pair, they are super comfy. Whenever someone sees a pair they always think of me because I wear mine a lot.

    Moccasins make my feet happy!

We have green and white paper straws (pretty!)…I bought them for my three year old, because, well…he likes to use straws…only he chews on the paper and they get all soggy…not a good idea!
