Weekend Wrap-Up #13
Monday, June 04, 2012
FYI – As I start posting more and more on this blog, I think Weekend Wrap-Up’s are going to get moved to Sunday nights, so I have more room for DIY’s, Crafts and other blog related things during the week. :)
I’d like to start this weekend wrap-up post off by stating how I was rudely woken up on Friday morning. Friday morning at 6AM, I was woken up by… A GUNSHOT. Yes, a gunshot. I guess that’s the price you pay when you live in the 20th deadliest city in the US. It makes me miss the country. At least when you get woken up by a gun shot there it’s either a. hunting season or b. someone just shooting a bird or rabbit. When I hear a gun shot where I live now, I know that a PERSON was either shot, or shot at. Such a lovely place to live. adfadfadflsad!
Onward with the wrap-up…
Friday night we went out to the bar with Travis’ coworkers to celebrate him turning 21.
On Saturday morning we got up early because we had to head to Maryland to pick up Travis’ new wheels for his car. We stopped at the car wash and sheetz for some grub before we headed to Maryland.
It was a pretty long and boring drive, because it was mostly highway. 80 miles one way.
I was pretty happy though when we saw the welcome to Pennsylvania sign.
Once we got back, I followed Travis over to my parent’s house so he could work on our cars.
I passed the time by weeding one of my dad’s flower gardens for two hours straight.
It looks so much better.
Travis’ worked on my car for a little while on Saturday, but didn’t finish.
His car got worked on as well, too.
& I raided my Dad’s fridge to reward myself for pulling his weeds, lol.
I don’t have any pictures from Sunday. We were busy running around all day, like going grocery shopping and lowes. Plus, we actually slept in for once, which was nice, but then we got a late start on everything and before we knew it, it was 8 o’clock at night and a storm rolled in, so we just watched the MTV movie awards and bottled beer for the rest of the night.
How was your weekend? Tell me about it in the comments section!
