Weekend Wrap-Up #7

Weekend Wrap-Up #7
April 20th – April 22nd

Travis was away again this weekend, for some Summit Point racing in West Virginia. Therefore, I had a pretty nice and relaxing weekend, minus Coco’s early morning wake up on early Sunday morning. I actually got out of work at noon, since I’ve been working so hard lately on our Spring Conference. Now that the conference is over with, blog posts should resume back to normal. :)

I actually made a list of some things I wanted to accomplish over the weekend.
I didn’t get it all done, but I did knock out a lot of it.

Remember when I said I got to relax over the weekend?
I actually meant I got to lounge on the mudroom/foyer floor. Is that weird?

Since I got out of work at noon, I came home and made myself breakfast for lunch.
Some dippy eggs and toast.

Plus some absolutely delicious strawberry milk.
I haven’t had strawberry milk in years, so it was long overdue.

I enjoyed a large glass of wine. :)

And just hung out in my sweats.

I found Young House Love‘s upcoming book on Amazon,
and after confirming with Sherry that it was the real thing, I pre-ordered it. :)

I also put our fruit in a bowl, instead of just letting it all sit on the counter.
Exciting? No. Organized? Yes.

I had some milk & cookies.
I was living the life. ha.

On Saturday morning I headed out to Micheal’s craft store.
I even got there before they opened and had to wait a few minutes until I could actually go in.

One of my favorite purchases from there… a HUGE mason jar for only $2.99.

I headed out towards my parent’s house then, and hit up Hobby Lobby since I was in the area.

I helped get the camper ready for camping season.

And went out to eat at Bob Evans. Chicken Strips, FTW!

I did a little bit of staining.

And when Travis finally came home on Sunday, he made us some smoothies. :)

They have a ball jar section? I haven’t found that yet at mine. That huge mason jar was on the bottom of a shelf by the register, under a bunch of little glass vases. It caught the corner of my eye and I grabbed it right away, haha.

Dippy eggs? Is that what most people refer to as sunny side over?

I love strawberry milk. I’ve always gotten weird looks but I think people just don’t know. I haven’t had it in forever either!

Looks like you had yourself one heck of a weekend! That’s the biggest mason jar I’ve ever seen and I’m completely jealous. And now I really want a glass of wine.. so what if it is only 9:17 in the morning?
