Leprechaun Dirt Pudding

Last night I made some pudding mixed with oreos for a St. Patrick’s Day dessert. It’s really easy to make and it doesn’t take long at all. And it tastes as good as it looks.

To make this recipe, you’ll need the following:
- 2 ½ cups milk
- 1 teaspoon green food coloring
- 2 small boxes of JELLO vanilla instant pudding
- 1 tub of Cool Whip (8 oz.)
- 1 package of Oreos (crushed)
Grab a large bowl and add the 2 ½ cups of milk, followed by the teaspoon of green food coloring; mix them together.
You’ll end up with this cool green color, perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. You could use any color you want though, red for Valentine’s Day or Christmas, purple for Easter, or you could really have fun with it, and separate it into various bowls and come up with a cool rainbow looking parfait! :)
Next, you will want to add your two packages of JELLO instant pudding mix, and mix them together well. Once you mix them together well, you will want to let it sit for 5 minutes. During this time you can start crushing your Oreos; I just used my food processor to crush them.
When I made my parfait’s for this recipe, I used an entire pack of Oreo’s + 5 Oreo’s from Travis’ stash or Oreo’s (shhhh, don’t tell!) I filled 5 parfait cups full of my mixture, but I also made a big bowl of it, which I needed the extra 5 Oreo’s for. You can probably get away with only using one pack of Oreo’s.
After your mixture sits for 5 minutes, you can stir in the entire tub of whipped cream.
You can start layering your crushed oreo’s and your pudding mixture into parfait cups, a trifle dish, a bowl… whatever you choose to use! Just go Oreo’s, Pudding, Oreo’s, Pudding… etc.
11 days until St. Patrick’s Day!
