Family Gallery Wall
02/01/2012

Yesterday after work, I had the motivation to start the frame wall. Travis bought me some mounting tape to use, which is kind of a love hate thing, since once it’s stuck to the wall, it’s not coming down until we move. That stuff is crazy strong. So, instead of being a gallery wall, I decided to just use family pictures and not swap them out for artwork and what not. The wall is only half finished though, so bare with me. (I still need pictures of Travis’ family for a 8 x 10 frame, and 3 5×7 frames.)

When you walk into the apartment and look toward your right down the stairs, this is what you’ll be seeing. HELLO GIANT COCO!

When you get a little closer, you’ll see a bunch of family photos. Which are all of my family and friends, and will soon be a combination of both of our families and friends. You can also see that map I customized. There is also pictures from my Dairy Queen days, my best friend from high school, my grandparents and parents. Even my sisters dogs made it into the mix.

My favorite picture on the wall is a really old one of my Nanny & I. (Rest In Peace ♥) I was around three years old in this picture.

And just so you understand where the frame wall is, in the apartment, here is what it looks like from the kitchen. I love how the light at the bottom of the stairs, shines right onto the pictures like an art gallery almost.

They were all Christmas presents from the past couple of years from my Mom and Travis’ Mom.

It’s so sweet that you are doing family pictures! I think those are nicer than a bunch of random art. And thanks for all the comments yesterday! They made me smile :)
