Boxes & Piled Up Chaos
Our first apartment is slowly getting packed up. Everything that we don’t use everyday is making it’s way into boxes, and even going to the new apartment already. Tomorrow after work I’m taking my first haul of boxes over to the new apartment. Since our new and much bigger apartment is on my way home, I figured I’d start loading the car up at night, and then after work the next day I’d stop by at the new apartment and drop some boxes off. That way most of our things will already be over there when the actual moving day arrives. I’m hoping that this will make the move really easy for us.
In the meantime, our apartment is looking like this.
Empty boxes everywhere, packing paper, bubble wrap and lots of permanent markers. We’ve started a “take to new apartment” pile in the corner of the living room, so it’s sort of out of the way of everyday life.
However, our kitchen table is out-of-order at the moment as things pile up, as they await being put into a box. But I have a feeling that another box pile is going to start in this corner, just like the living rooms.
Even the animals are affected. Coco has to eat next to the gerbils, who are now residing on the floor until moving day. You’d think Coco would love this, like a normal cat would, but she could care less. She’s more interested in the millions of boxes just waiting for her to jump into them and of course her beloved kitty food.
Let the box chaos continue…
Are you taking part of the Pinterest Challenge hosted by YHL and Bower Power next week?
I’m hoping to, if I ever find the object that I’m searching for! :)
