Latest Additions: Home Essentials
On Saturday, Travis and I had a “date night”. We went to Cabela’s and went to see Apollo 18 (which was good, even though it’s not my kind of movie) in theaters. We had an hour wait until our movie started so we decided to stop in at the Kmart across the street from the movie theater. We actually bought two things for the apartment.
We stopped in the candle aisle to pick out a new one, since our last two were used up and we only have one scentsy warmer, which resides in the kitchen. After smelling numerous scents from Maple Syrup to Fresh Linen we both loved the Tropical Fruits. So we bought this one for around $5.
We also went down all of the kitchen supply aisles and bought something that Travis has been wanting for awhile. He’s been looking for small glasses that you see in movies and in Ron White’s comedy routine, where they drink some hard liquors out of, like Scotch and Whiskey. Kmart happened to have a set of 4 for only $5.99.

Rocks glasses (I think they’re also called old fashioned glasses). The hubs has a set with his fraternity crest on them that he is very fond of.
I just bought new candles, too! They’re pumpkin pie spice… they smell like fall :)
